I haven't given you any type of update since the summertime so there's a lot to talk about! First of all, I started preschool at St. John's this year. I go three mornings a week and my teachers are Mrs. White and Mrs. Saul. I have met some really fun friends and I am really learning a lot. My favorite days are Tuesdays when we visit the school library and I get to go to daycare!! I get sad when mommy and Jake come to pick me up.

Jake also started preschool this fall. He goes to Cedar Park Toddlers with mommy on Tuesdays and his teacher is Teacher Karen Truelove. Jake LOVES teacher Karen! Every day he asks when he's going to go to "Karen's House." Jake also goes to Little Gym on Mondays and he is getting really good at gymnastics!

We both do soccer on Saturdays. I am really proud of myself. I believe in myself and then I can do it!

We celebrated Halloween in October. I was a Seahawk and Jake was Elmo. We went trick or treating down in Ballard with our buddies Noah, Balin, and Osiris. Then, in November Jake and I had our birthday party. It was really fun. We had all of our friends and family there.

And now it is Christmas time! After Thanksgiving, we went downtown to see Santa. I asked for converse for my daddy since everyone else in our family has a pair except for him. Jake asked for candy. Then, we went to get our tree down in Olalla. I picked out the perfect one! We had lots of fun decorating it. Jake likes to take all the decorations off. He doesn't understand why he can't take the decorations off the tree and play with them! We have also been going to visit the Christmas Train and Reindeer at Swanson's Nursery. We went downtown to go on the Carousel and we ran in the Jingle Bell Run Kiddie's Run. I ran with Grandma Pat and Jake ran with Daddy.

It's Summertime!

Hi Everybody! Happy Summer. Well, things are pretty good for the Deines'. I just finished my first year of preschool at the Monarch School and I am getting really excited for St. John's. I decided that when I go to St. John's I am going to be a big boy and I want to be called "Mick" not "Mickey". But right now I still like Mickey.

This summer is going to be pretty busy! I start my swimming lessons at Ballard Pool tomorrow, and I am also going to be taking gymnastics and going to Art Camp! I wanted to do soccer too, but I was already filled up. Mommy said that me and Jake can do soccer in the fall.

We are also going back to Bella beach after the 4th of July. It will be really fun and I will have mommy put more pictures up of it after we get back.

Here are some pictures of our spring. My brother is getting pretty big. He is not a baby anymore. We have fun playing together but he always messes up my legos and puzzles. Mommy says that I have to teach him stuff but I wish he would just know.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Hi there!

So, it's February now and I have some new stuff to write about. We've been up to some pretty fun things!

It snowed a couple times and I got to play in it. Mommy and I even made a little snowman. I got really sad when he melted though.

We've been able to visit with a lot of friends. One of my oldest friends, Jack came to visit from Boston. It was great seeing him and talking about the "Backyardigans." I hope to see him again soon. He is my great buddy.

I loved it. We went to a grown up dance club during the daytime and got to dance to music and have snacks and play with bubbles. The DJ even played "Hey Mickey" just for me!

We went with Noah and Alicia to see Mary and Baby Jonah who were in town from New Hampshire.

I've been really having a great time at school. I've made a lot of great friends this year. I carpool with my friend Avery every preschool day. It will be sad to leave my school in June, but I am really looking forward to St. John's. They have a cool new playground and mommy says my classroom next year will have Lego's so I'm happy about that.

I went to see the play "Goodnight Moon" with mommy and daddy. I was pretty nervous at first but once I got used to it, It was good. That is mine and my daddy's favorite book.

Jakey started "Little Gym" last week. He told me he had a great time playing with kids his own age. He really likes doing somersaults and playing with the parachute.

I am starting my swimming lessons this week. I will write more soon to tell you all about it!
